08/02/2024 - Scottish Universities to Benefit from a £5.8 million Research Funding Boost
The injection of £5.8 million in research funding was announced by the Minister for Higher and Further Education, Graeme Dey, at Edinburgh Napier University on 7 February 2024. In recognition of the direct impact on quality of teaching from research and knowledge exchange, the intention is to ask universities to focus the additional funding on a range of research and innovation activity that supports teaching, including but not limited to the following:
